Nigerian russian dating scam
His profile will show his real business, photos and where he lives, was born, went to school and he has close to 5,000 friends. I was contacted by a scammer using two of Jay's real photos but going by the name of Chris Anderson. The real man is not going to do this but the scammers will.
Now, there are two other Jay Francis Mc Hugh accounts that are absolutely FAKE. I fell for the pictures under Chris Anderson, who still uses the two photos. Anytime you get a friend request from someone on Facebook put their profile name in the "search". It will show you the profile name with a forward slash /. I found several that showed the account as being set up in Nigeria by Danny Waltha, Gloria Ojigbo and a new one named Desmond Imoniefe. Facebook agreed that one was fake but said the other two were set up properly. I was told he has thirty or more women he is scamming. thank god for whoever created this site, it helps so much, as I dont trust anyone with broken English, or weird grammar.
After seeing the amount in his bank account, I had no reason to ever believe he'd want anything from me. I spoke with "Christopher" for nearly 6 months, in which time he was obviously building my trust.
He even offered to transfer money to my bank account for being so kind in helping him out with emails to his supplier while he was away and couldn't access his account. I'm out nearly 00 since he wiped out my account. The saying "Hindsight is 20/20" definitely rings true.
I only feel sorry for genuine offshore engineers working and looking for love.
After being widowed for several years, I decided to venture out into the dating world again.
I would like to address to the lady whose scammer is Charles Bothmann. But I must agree, I did miss his messages in the mornings, anyway I wish I could find out who is the guy of the pictures he sent, so please be safe and don't trust them, as they only want your money and will break your heart.
So during my research I identified two alias results with the same pictures. The current one hasn’t yet asked me to move off the app but his English isn’t as on point as he would have me believe, worked as an engineer for Exxon for 25 years with a 17 year old daughter. And my story..I’m not as forthcoming with information and I’m having fun creating a character to play in this facade!!!
I can only warn others now and hope they will heed advice given to me that I didn't take until it was too late.
Mind you, I am aware that there are scammers out there, so I did my research and found Pemex Oil is a real thing. I hope maybe this will help someone not fall into the trap I did.
Since I'm posting my experience here, needless to say, it was a nightmare.
I joined a dating site and met a very romantic, sweet talking fellow who goes by the name Christopher Brooks. He had 1 daughter who attended Oxford University in London.
We were both on a dating site and he quicky asked me to jump over to Yahoo and use regular email so I set up a bogus account on Yahoo and also gmail, and Installed the chat. Widowed, one child , age 15 however, once we got to regular email his emails were very choppy. He said he was self Employed oil rig engineer in Houston, Tx with 8 men working with him.
